The promotion originated as a way for the BlueClaws and the Asbury Park Press to give back to area families, and because of the success of the program, they have offered to bring it back in 2012.
"We're really trying to help everyone in the area," said Tom Donovan, President and Publisher of the Asbury Park Press. "The BlueClaws are a great place for a relaxing and affordable weekend, and we're able to take that affordability to another level with this promotion."
On Friday, April 13th, the BlueClaws will have post-game fireworks, as they do every Friday, thanks to Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood. This will be the first of 14 scheduled fireworks shows in 2012.
Saturday, April 14th, the BlueClaws 4:05 game includes a celebration of Buster's Birthday with many of his mascot friends. Also, the first 2,000 fans 17 & under will receive a BlueClaws knit winter hat thanks to TD Bank.
Finally, the 1:05 game Sunday, April 15th includes a schedule cup giveaway thanks to Waterside Gardens Apartments. Plus, Kids Eat Free like at every Sunday and Monday home game thanks to ShopRite.
