Lookouts Drop Finale to Trash Pandas

Chattanooga's offense struggled to get going in their 6-1 loss to Rocket City in the series finale at AT&T Field.

Rocket City jumped out to a 5-0 lead and were able to capitalize on three Lookouts errors. Chattanooga's first and only run of the day came in the sixth inning when Steven Leyton scored on a sacrifice fly after leading the inning off with a triple.

The Trash Pandas added one more run in the eighth on an Orlando Martinez RBI single. The outfielder now has 10 RBIs against Chattanooga this season in eight games.

Starting pitcher Lyon Richardson pitched two innings and only allowed one run. Reliever Spencer Stockton threw three scoreless frames and Eduardo Salazar lowered his ERA to 1.00.

After an off day tomorrow the Lookouts welcome in the Birmingham Barons for six games. Tuesday's game begins at 7:15 p.m.
