Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which MLB team are you affiliated with?
A: Since 2021, we've been the High-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, located between Low-A Stockton and Double-A Midland (followed by Triple-A Las Vegas) on the Athletics' minor-league ladder. We previously were the Low-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals (1996-1998), Chicago Cubs (1999-2004), and Toronto Blue Jays (2005-2020), hosting four Midwest League All-Star Games and winning the 1997 and 2003 Midwest League championships.

Q: Is Jackson Field cashless?
A: Yes it is! Starting in 2021 the stadium has become completely cashless. Going cashless has made for faster, safer, and more secure transactions. Credit and debit cards will be accepted at all concession stands and the Nuts & Bolts Retail Store. If you only have cash for in-stadium transactions, it can be exchanged for Lugnut Loot or a prepaid food card at Guest Services.

Q: What's your official rain policy? Do I receive a refund if it rains?
A: If a legal game is not played, this ticket can be exchanged for any remaining regular-season game (in the same calendar year) subject to availability. A game is considered legal after 5 innings are played, except when the Lugnuts are leading after 4 1⁄2 innings. If the game is not rescheduled/resumed, refunds or credits will be as determined at the Lugnuts' discretion.

Q: I have a baby. Do they need a ticket?
A: No, they don't. Our minimum age for tickets is three years old - but if a child is under the age of three and requires his or her own seat, a ticket must be purchased.

Q: Where should I park?
A: Public parking is available on streets, parking lots, and parking ramps in a four-to-five block area around the ballpark. The Lugnuts are not responsible for any acquired parking tickets given out by the City of Lansing.
