Community Relations

The Reading Fightin Phils are proud to be a part of the Reading community and surrounding areas. Both front office staff and players work to be involved in different local initiatives from impactful education to social responsibility to empowering change. Being an active part of the Reading community is at the forefront of the organization's priorities. By utilizing our resources and our reach, the R-Phils hope to use sport as a positive means while providing affordable family fun for fans near and far.

American Flag Group

Each game during the season, the Fightins invite select groups to have the honor of holding the American flag on field for our National Anthem. The flag measures a massive 20 x 38 feet. After supporting our country, the group is invited to enjoy the game.

Autograph Signings

Our players are known for how personable they are towards the fans. They are always willing to sign autographs and take photos with the fans.

Bark in the Park

All fans are welcome to the ballpark these games! Our furry friends are allowed all around the stadium to enjoy the ballgame with their families thanks to Humane Pennsylvania.

Community Tables

Each game, the Fightins welcome community tables that support various causes like the Humane Society, furthering education, protecting our planet and many more community conscious organizations.

Jr. Fightins

Gives local little leagues the opportunity to run out on on the field and stand with the players during the National Anthem.

Mascot Band

The Fightin Phils very own Quack, Blooper, Changeup and Screwballl take the stage on Saturdays to perform!

Mascot Visits

Fans of the Fightin Phils are always in for a surprise when they get a visit from one of our mascots! Different mascots visit throughout the season to make the fan experience even better than before. Some fan favorites were Disney princesses, Paw Patrol, Harry Potter, and the Phillie Phanatic! They show up at the pool and even make trips into the community!

Students from local schools were honored by Fightins players for their outstanding grades and participation with their school

Stars of Tomorrow

Little League teams are invited to play catch in the outfield before a game and get the experience of a minor league player.
