Feltner Sharp in Return as Indians Top Sox, 10-1

Spokane, Wash. - If Ryan Feltner had any nerves stepping back onto the mound, it certainly didn't show in his performance tonight. The Colorado Rockies right-hander, who suffered a skull fracture and severe concussion on a comebacker in early May, struck out a trio of Everett hitters over three innings of one-run ball in his first game action in over three months. Feltner's strong performance was backed by a bounce-back night form Spokane's offense as the Indians defeated the AquaSox, 10-1, in front of 6,779 fans at Avista Stadium for Armed Forces Appreciation & Fireworks Night presented *Windermere Real Estate, KHQ, & 103.5 The Game. *Spokane improved to 26-29 in the second half and 59-61 overall with the win.

TOP PERFORMERS

Cullen Kafka (5-3) took over in relief of Feltner and tossed four scoreless frames to pick up his fifth win of the season.

Braiden Ward was a dual threat from the leadoff spot tonight, clubbing his first home run of the season while adding a pair of stolen bases to boost his team-leading total to 43 (third-best in the NWL).

Juan Guerrero finished 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI while Ryan Ritter, Nic Kent, and Robby Martin Jr. all had a pair of base hits in the win.
