Indians Drop Soggy Series Opener to AquaSox, 11-5

*Spokane, Wash. - *Everett's potent offense exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning as they topped the Indians,11-5, in front of 4,826 fans and 110 dogs at Avista Stadium for SCRAPS Bark in the Park Night presented by SCRAPS. Spokane fell to 25-28 in the second half and 58-60 overall with the loss.

TOP PERFORMERS

Shortstop Ryan Ritter continued his recent hot streak at the plate, reaching base five times on a single, a double, and three walks. The former Kentucky Wildcat is batting .368 (14-for-38) with four doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, and four stolen bases over his last 11 games.

Nic Kent had two hits and a walk while Robby Martin plated a pair of runs on a fielder's choice and double in the loss.
