TOP PERFORMERS
Ritter got the scoring starter for Spokane with an opposite-field solo shot in the first and finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. The former Kentucky Wildcat is making a strong case for NWL Player of the Week, batting .600 (6-for-10) with five runs, two home runs, five RBI, five walks, and one stolen base.
Nic Kent connected on his 11th home run of the season - a two-run shot in the first that gave Spokane an early 3-0 lead. The 23-year-old Virginian now ranks eighth in the NWL in batting (.280) and tenth in hits (91).
Juan Guerrero continued his hot streak with two more base knocks - giving him eight hits and five RBI in three games against the Dust Devils this week.
Brayan Castillo tossed two scoreless innings of relief with a pair of strikeouts in the loss.
